Seymour Who's Who
Public Profile

Coach Aza
For us, it begins with water, with a story, and with a slash (/).
The slash is more than just a symbol —
It’s a lifeline. A current.
A reminder that we are not separate, but with.
With the game. With the land. With each other.
With those who came before, and those who are yet to come.
This is the story of the WaterBros and SistaFlo/Ws.
We are not athletes. Not influencers.
We are witnesses.
Grassroots storytellers.
The ones who show up —
to carry water, to run lines, to capture moments in the dirt,
on the edge of the field, in the heat of the grind.
We are the unseen force that has always been there.
Every splash of hydration, every call from the boundary,
every pep talk at halftime, every parent on the fence.
We move with the game,
we carry the Flo/W.
Our symbol, the slash ( / ), is inspired by the tail of the stingray —
graceful and powerful, protective and precise.
It slashes through time, connecting the old with the new,
ceremony with sport, the sacred with the everyday.
It is the mark we wear, and the rhythm we follow.
And @ —
the spiral, the body, the wings, the eye, the echo of everything.
We don’t just tag it. We live it.
It captures presence. Attention. Connection.
Where we are @/
As a Culture.
As Individuals.
As Community.
Together, @/ become more than brand marks.
They are ceremonial signs.
Markings of a movement.
Signals of belonging.
This is not just a campaign.
It is a resurrection.
A global storytelling movement led by those who stand
in the shadows of the game, and shine light from the sidelines.

Guided by the slash.

Distinguished and Famous people from Seymour
🎨 Russell Drysdale
Russell Drysdale gave Seymour an enduring place in Australian art through Moody's pub, painted in 1941. The work was based on the Royal Hotel on the Hume Highway, although its sparse setting and unhurried figures can suggest a much more remote outback town. Drysdale's humour lies in the ordinary gathering and its quietly exaggerated atmosphere. The National Gallery of Victoria acquired the painting in 1942, its first purchase of his work. A familiar roadside hotel became part of the country's visual memory.
🏉 David Mundy
David Mundy grew up in Seymour and began playing for St Mary's in the district junior competition at eight. He progressed through the Murray Bushrangers before moving west to join Fremantle. His first year in Western Australia included a WAFL premiership with Subiaco, followed by an AFL debut in 2005. He won Fremantle's Doig Medal as the club's best-and-fairest player in 2010. An early club profile records the striking durability of his start: his first 124 AFL appearances were consecutive. The long professional career began with junior football in Seymour, even though his strongest senior club association developed on the opposite side of the country.
